The Summer Student Research Program (or SSRP) allows undergraduate students to carry out independent research or creative activity under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Each student receives a stipend and research budget. The structured summer program involves weekly meetings and a field trip with students across disciplines participating. Students present their findings at the Fall Research Symposium. You can find more information about how to apply and get involved by visiting https://www.unk.edu/academics/undergraduate_research/ssrp.php.
