Student Success Announcements
Last month, graduating senior Grace Vinton was honored as the Department of English Outstanding Senior at the annual College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Seniors Fall Ceremony. Grace, a native of Mullen, Nebraska, graduated with a BAE in English Education with a minor in Creative Writing.
During my time at UNK, I was active at St. Teresa’s Catholic Newman Center; I was on the council for two years, and I helped with many volunteer opportunities. I also taught Faith Formation classes at St. James and Prince of Peace Catholic churches in Kearney. I was active on several intramural teams ranging from basketball to broomball. In addition, I presented a paper at the English department’s Student Language and Literature Conference as well as moderated a panel.
Congratulations, Grace!
